This was a piece that changed over the time…Initially, being a concept that would feature a couple who tied the knot during the lockdown, to then focusing on the why behind a couple tying the knot during lockdown. This change took place merely because of the shifting relevance of lockdown and the restrictions that came with it.
I was involved in adapting this concept to fit into the current scenario of an easing up lockdown, where intimate weddings were becoming the norm amongst couples. Hence, the new approach of interviewing a couple about WHY they chose to take the leap regardless of it being a difficult time, rather than waiting a few more months when restrictions would ease up more, was a fresh and interesting approach that NDC was able to champion…
With the help of the account management team, we were able to shortlist a couple that was the perfect fit for the brand. I had written out interview questions that captured their love story, from the way they met, to their engagement to the wedding prep and finally the wedding day itself.
This piece went live as an interview based article on their website and two short video posts on Instagram, along with a story on Instagram that redirected users to the article. My role was to ensure the interview answers and their story came out clearly in the social posts as well. Ensuring that we honoured their story as well as brought out the diamond connect and how the jewelry played a pivotal role in their celebrations.
